Current Programmes of Work

Mental Health First Aid:

One of the biggest challenges facing this generation as a whole is Mental Health and Mental Well Being. A staggering 1 in 4 people will be affected by Mental Health issues and 1 in 6 are experiencing common symptoms such as anxiety and depression every week.

Understanding and raising awareness is a big step toward more people receiving support, asking for support or even being identified as needing support. Mental Health impacts everyone on a daily basis and early detection and support is vital.

With a generous donation from The Grimmitt Trust, we can now roll out a programme of ‘Mental Health First Aid’ that will see school staff trained to become Mental Health First Aiders within their setting to raise awareness, help our schools to see tell-tale signs and be the person to support and offer guidance to our children, young people, staff and stakeholders.

English as an Additional Language (EAL) Leadership Camps:

Our Charity will deliver a project of leadership training camps and volunteering activities for young people who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) in Wolverhampton. The project aims to use physical activity to give beneficiaries a new social and practical skills which help them integrate within their own schools and community. The aim of this project is to bring people together and build strong relationships in and across communities, develop stronger places and spaces within our diverse communities and enable more people to unlock and fulfil their potential.

Working in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to run these Leadership Camps across the City which will be free to access.
